We are best known for our Medieval and Rennaisance designs, but do other time periods as well.
We would self describe ourselves as a Journeyman Seamstress. We have been making clothing for 22 years, starting when we were 10 with sewing projects for the county fair. We discovered Historic Reenactments when we were in High School and have been involved with Historic Costuming from that point on. We have made outfits ranging in time from early Medieval Period through Edwardian England.
We make clothing and accessories for many time periods. Currently we are focused mainly on the Medieval and Renaissance periods. Samples of our work can be seen in the Gallery

We are happy to do custom work for our customers. We prefer to work with individuals within a 2 hour driving distance of Columbus Ohio. However, we will take requests from outside the area.
The price of custom work is determined by the complexity of the garment. For custom work, we require that the fabric be paid for before the start of the project. Cost of the fabric,supplies, and half of the labor cost are due upfront and are non-refundable. All prices include the drafting of a custom fit pattern and delivery of mockup garments to ensure proper fit. For custom accessories, all materials and labor cost are due upfront. We continuely strive to get the best prices for material, but no price can be guaranteed until time of ordering.
In addition to custom work, we do, as stated above, have ready made items for sale. The price of these are significantly lower than custom work, as they are ment to be lose fitting and are often made from left over and discounted supplies, which cannot be guaranteed to be available when doing custom work.
I accept Paypal as well as personal checks and money orders. I won't ship until payment has cleared though. If you are paying by personal check it can take up to 10 days for the check to clear through the financial institution. This is not my policy, but a banking policy, so please be aware of this when deciding what method of payment you would like to use.
I do charge sales tax of 6.75% for residents of the State of Ohio. They want their money, and I give it to them...so they don't try to take it away from me later at a much higher rate. Do not ask me to just skip that part.
My Refund and Exchange policy differs between custom work and ready-made.
For custom work, there is no refund for materials purchased. I will refund money for the labor portion of the contract, provided every fitting for the garment was attended. If there were missed fitting appointments, there will be no refund of any money, as stated in the custom work contract.
For ready-made items, I am happy to refund money for any garment for any reason, provided that I am contacted within 3 days of your having received the garment. Garment must be returned in the same condition that it arrived to you in. It must be unworn and unsoiled. (unworn beyond trying on) It cost me money to make these items, I need to be able to list it for resale.
